Job Title: Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at HSB Technical Ltd. As a Mechanical / Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical, domestic, and hydraulic equipment onboard vessels and in the repair workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair mechanical, domestic, and hydraulic equipment onboard vessels and in the repair workshop.
  2. Ensure safe and efficient operation of shipboard mechanical systems.
  3. Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard.
  4. Update company-approved Planned Maintenance/Purchasing systems.
  5. Complete job reports and allocate materials.
  6. Ensure compliance with PTWs, isolations, risk assessments, and method statements.
  7. Provide out-of-hours service when required.
  8. Promote and adhere to QHSE Policies.
  9. Stop work if necessary to ensure safety.
  10. Assist other divisions when required.

Requirements:

  1. Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineer with relevant onshore/offshore support experience.
  2. Hands-on background in heavy engineering.
  3. Driving Licence.
