Mobile Fabric Engineer - Commercial Portfolio

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer to work on a commercial contract in the Kent area. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm tests, painting and decorating, and basic carpentry and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including emergency lighting tests and fire alarm tests
  • Carry out painting and decorating work, including touching up paintwork and tightening hinges
  • Conduct basic lighting and carpentry tasks, including installing and repairing blinds
  • Fix furniture and hang pictures and shelves
  • Maintain and update log books
  • Assist the maintenance team on site and escort sub-contractors
  • Perform basic 'fabric duties', including making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and equipment
Requirements:
  • Level 1 or 2 in any plumbing or fabric trade
  • Ability to obtain a PTS (Personal Track Safety) sentinel card
  • Sound level of administration and organisational skills
  • General building maintenance experience
  • Multi-skilled and able to work overtime when required
