About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care & Support Assistant to join our team at Maiden Castle House, a state-of-the-art residential and dementia care home in Dorset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside a team of Care Assistants to provide guidance and support throughout their shifts.
  • Identify the individual needs and abilities of our residents to deliver person-centered care.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and provide companionship.
  • Act as a point of escalation for any incidents or events in the home.
  • Contribute to creating a co-operative, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
Requirements
  • Naturally caring and compassionate individual.
  • Ability to inspire and nurture the team to be at their best every day.
  • Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous care experience with knowledge and understanding of care planning and administering medication.
