About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Flexible Resourcing Specialist at Sandwell Children's Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and assist the delivery of MST CAN Interventions, working alongside MST-CAN therapists, to reduce the number of children and young people entering care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to address child abuse and neglect within a family and community setting.
- Promote and sustain successful partnerships with families, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure the inclusion of children, young people, and families receiving treatment.
- Work collaboratively with the MST CAN Team to meet the needs of children, young people, and families receiving treatment.
Requirements
- NVQ level 3 or above in social care, education, health, youth and community service, or early years.
- Experience in working with children and families in a community setting, including child abuse/neglect and/or adult mental health or substance abuse.
- Experience of working with families where there are child protection concerns.
- Experience of safeguarding and identifying safety concerns and risk factors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
