About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Security Officer to join our team at Hart Shoreditch Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the hotel's interior and perimeter to identify potential safety risks and security threats.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and property.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Monitor the hotel's CCTV system and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Safe Work Practices: Promote and maintain safe work practices throughout the hotel.
  • Communication: Maintain radio contact with the Front Desk and Night Auditor at all times.
  • Incident Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, including obtaining witness statements and writing incident reports.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, including maintaining accurate logs, records, and notebooks.
  • Investigations: Conduct investigations into incidents and ensure clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: Previous experience in the hotel industry, with a strong background in security.
  • SIA Licence: Possession of a valid SIA licence.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
