Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Solihull, West Midlands, and Northamptonshire

Contract: Contract and permanent roles available

Shifts: Multiple shifts available, including days, double days, and rotating shifts

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a prestigious, high-value automotive manufacturer. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and reduce costs
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
