At RSK Group, we are seeking a talented Graduate SuDS Designer to join our Consultancy group and contribute to our UK Water Engineering and Environmental projects.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on an interesting and varied portfolio of work, including natural capital projects and Solutions By Nature; our nature-based solutions team delivering blue-green infrastructure to the water industry.

As a Graduate SuDS Designer, you will be part of our development programme and work closely with our highly experienced and widely respected team. You will have the chance to develop your skills in SuDS design software tools, programmes, and techniques involving GIS and CAD.

Key responsibilities include working with the Solutions by Nature and Wider Binnies teams to deliver whole lifecycle design and construction on SuDS projects, writing supporting documents for planning applications, and providing general environmental support on a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Solutions by Nature and Wider Binnies teams to deliver whole lifecycle design and construction on SuDS projects
  • Writing supporting documents for planning applications and other environmental consents
  • Providing general environmental support on a wide range of projects including fluvial and coastal flood risk management, water utility, rail, renewable/energy projects, and other large-scale infrastructure
  • Supporting environmental fieldwork and site assessments
  • Liaising with project teams, clients, stakeholders, and the public as required

About You:

  • Have an engineering/environmental related degree
  • Have some practical/theoretical experience of drainage/SuDS projects
  • Have an applied or theoretical experience of Natural capital or Biodiversity Net Gain on schemes
  • Have excellent written and oral communication
  • Have the ability to organise, manage, and prioritise work, with or without supervision, in order to meet tight deadlines and deliver well-planned work schedules
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
