Job Overview
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a skilled RTT Trainer to join their Patient Access Training team. As an RTT Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training to ensure that all MTW staff gain the skills, knowledge, and support required to work confidently and effectively while applying the elective care policy.
Main Duties
You will be responsible for developing and delivering training materials in various formats, including written, in-person, and virtual. You will work closely with the Senior Trainer and training team to design and implement training programs that address specific training needs and objectives. Your ability to analyze complex information, extract relevant data, and communicate effectively with diverse staff groups will be essential in this role.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree-level education or equivalent experience, TAP delivery skills refresher Certificate, and evidence of continuing professional development. You will also need to have strong VDU/Keyboard skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience of managing performance dashboards. Additionally, you will need to have the ability to assess users' learning needs, gain their confidence, and gear training appropriately.

Qualifications
- Essential criteria: Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, TAP delivery skills refresher Certificate, and evidence of continuing professional development
- Desirable criteria: PRINCE 2, Report Writing Course, and evidence of Advanced Allscripts knowledge
Experience/Knowledge
- Essential criteria: An understanding of RTT and management of Elective Care pathways, strong VDU/Keyboard skills, and proficiency in Excel
- Desirable criteria: Experience of successful lecture room teaching and course delivery, previous experience of an educator role, and experience of producing effective training content and materials
Skills
- Essential criteria: Excellent organisational, written, verbal communication skills, ability to analyze and interpret complex information, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills
- Desirable criteria: Ability to analyze and extract relevant information and attention to details
