About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our Corporate and Commercial Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading site audit teams and providing a hands-on compliance and advisory role that meets or exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit: Prepare the audit plan, oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork, and ensure planned audit work is completed to satisfy audit objectives.
  • Clients: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients' businesses, maintain good working relationships with client staff, and identify opportunities to sell additional services.
  • Task Management: Ensure the firm carries out its professional duties properly, consistently achieve deadlines, and understand the commercial implications of actions.
  • Training: Attend training courses to develop technical and personal skills, maintain an understanding of audit methodology, and Caseware audit software.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualification: ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Significant experience of working in a professional accountancy practice, experience of using Microsoft packages, internet, email, and computerised audit packages.
  • Skills: Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and priorities, proven ability to manage a portfolio, and experience of coaching or mentoring colleagues.
