About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Adjuster to join our team at Direct Line Group. As a Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for shaping exceptional customer experiences and driving success in Home, SME & Commercial claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Home, SME, and Commercial claims and conduct on-site customer visits.
- Evaluate digital evidence and play a crucial role in supporting Public Relations opportunities linked to Surge Events and DLG responses for affected insured properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service, reflecting outstanding Net Promoter Scores.
- Manage and own Home and Commercial claims, potentially retaining claims exceeding Delegated Authority.
- Identify optimal claims settlement solutions and collaborate with Disaster, Recovery, and Restoration teams.
- Handle complaints, facilitate resolution, provide technical referrals, and support subrogated recovery elements.
- Maintain relationships with operational areas and emphasize adherence to Consumer Duty principles, self-development, and managing business risks within the DLG risk framework.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a field-based role.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage limits, and claims processes.
- Understanding of current construction methodology.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
