Position Title: Zonal Response Team (ZRT) Operative

Role Objective:

  • Carry out temporary repairs on defects
  • Comply with safety standards and protocols
  • Utilize machinery and manage traffic control setups
  • Work in rotating shifts, including nights and public holidays
  • Uphold safety and environmental compliance

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in road maintenance
  • C1E driving qualifications
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence
  • Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks
  • Preferred certifications: DCPC, Traffic Management TTMBC

Compensation Package:

  • Salary range: £11.44 to £14.37 (based on experience)
  • 30% additional pay for night shifts
  • Colas Pension Scheme with contributions up to 10%
  • Life Assurance Scheme (four times basic salary)
  • 20.5 days of annual leave along with additional benefits
