Building Surveyor Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Bennett and Game Recruitment. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering professional and project-related building surveying services across various non-residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting condition surveys and preparing detailed reports
  • Capturing precise site particulars and developing specifications and schedules of work
  • Collaborating with CAD technicians to prepare comprehensive drawing packages
  • Preparing project budgets and submitting planning and building control applications
  • Attending client meetings and conducting interim site inspections
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Building Surveying
  • Over 3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and report writing skills
  • Experience in undertaking condition surveys and knowledge of relevant documentation under CDM2015
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to ensure that you are adding maximum value
  • Excellent IT skills and a full UK driving licence
