Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Dyer & Butler. As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing civil engineering projects across our varied portfolio of civil infrastructure works in safety and operationally critical environments across the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

* Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
* Site supervision
* Health & safety management
* Producing method statements and risk assessments
* Programming
* Commercial reporting
* Supervising construction projects and overseeing build / construction activities
* Management of sub-contractors
* Cost monitoring and control
* Quality control of all construction activities

Requirements:

* Degree qualified in Civil engineering (or equivalent), with a successful track record managing civil engineering & infrastructure projects
* Project management & delivery experience within a safety critical environment
* Possess a strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract, to manage day to day contract obligations
* Demonstrable experience with both the commercial & project deliverables on previous projects
* Proven experience in managing civil engineering and building projects
* Proven MS Project skills
* SMSTS
* CSCS Card - Black
* Full Clean Driving License
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors
