About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Software Engineer to join our team at Oxa. As a key member of our autonomous vehicle development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software to seamlessly integrate our autonomy stack into our customer and development vehicles.

Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining the control systems and software that enable our vehicles to understand and interact with the world around them. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to identify and respond to challenges and opportunities for vehicle control presented by specific vehicle platforms or operational environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software to integrate our autonomy stack into our customer and development vehicles.
  • Develop and maintain control systems and software for autonomous vehicle control.
  • Work with the team to identify and respond to challenges and opportunities for vehicle control.
  • Contribute to the development of core control algorithms and associated tools to maximize control performance across the fleet.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on embedded systems and control systems.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining complex software systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
