About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Trainee Metal Worker, your duties will involve operating manual and CNC-based machinery for metal processing, processing steel to customers' requirements, and working within our quality system to ensure full traceability of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a selection of manual and CNC-based machinery for metal processing
  • Process steel to customers' requirements and tolerances
  • Work within the company's quality system to ensure the full traceability of customer orders
  • Operate forklifts, combi lifts, and cranes safely and in a controlled manner
  • Load and offload plates and parts from machines
  • Identify and locate different steel products using appropriate measuring equipment

Requirements:

  • Competency at reading drawings, orders, and following verbal instructions
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
