As an on-call firefighter for Hampshire County Council, you will be a key member of our emergency response team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community safety and willing to respond to a range of emergencies.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. You must be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident.

We provide a comprehensive training programme to ensure you are equipped to handle various situations, including community fire safety, flooding, co-responding, road accidents, and chemical spills. You will also engage with your community through outreach and education initiatives.

To be eligible to apply, you must work and/or live within 4 minutes of the Fire Station. This post is subject to a Standard DBS Check, and we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults.
