Mechanical Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's team in Bridgwater/Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical projects from pre-construction design to handover, ensuring timely completion and within budget.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will have a team of supervisors/engineers reporting to you, and you will work closely with the Operations Manager. Your commercial acumen and understanding of value engineering will enable you to optimize project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects in the M&E sector. You will also hold SMSTS or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-construction design oversight
  2. Design drawing reviews and value engineering implementation
  3. Contract programme preparation and progress monitoring
  4. Subcontractor procurement and management
  5. Commissioning process oversight and client handover
