The role of a Customer Delivery Driver Trainee at John Lewis Partnership is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a permanent employee. The estimated salary for this position is £12.40 per hour, with potential overtime opportunities.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing home furnishings, electrical products, and sports equipment to customers. You will work as part of a two-person crew, promoting the John Lewis & Partners brand through excellent customer service.

  • You will complete the 12-month Customer Delivery Driver Trainee programme to become a fully competent John Lewis Customer Delivery Installer.
  • Installation and disconnection of white goods.
  • Assembly of flat pack.
  • TV installations.
  • Offering to take away packaging upon completion of deliveries.
  • End-of-day vehicle check and debrief, ensuring any issues or defects are reported.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full, clean manual Category B driving licence (standard car driving licence) and previous driving experience.
  • To be aged 18 or over.
