Maintenance Strategist

VickerStock is working in partnership with one of Ireland's largest food manufacturing firms to recruit a Maintenance Planner for their site in Cookstown. This organization is dedicated to high performance and continuous improvement, leading to its trusted partnership with wholesalers, retail, and ingredient markets across the UK and Ireland for several decades.

The successful candidate will be responsible for adopting a safety-first approach when planning all maintenance work, adhering to site safety, food safety, and quality processes and procedures. They will also efficiently plan, schedule, and control the workflow of all non-urgent maintenance from origination through to assignment, developing, implementing, and maintaining the site CMMS.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, time-served apprenticeship, or similar relevant qualification. Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems is required. They should be highly organized, able to manage several work streams with conflicting priorities, and have experience working in a similar role.
