About the Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated educational mentor to provide targeted support to Key Stage 3 students with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum and be able to design and deliver effective lesson plans that foster academic growth and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored learning strategies to meet the unique needs of students with SEMH needs.
  • Assess student learning gaps and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Requirements
  • A relevant teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience working with students who have SEMH needs.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create inclusive learning environments that cater to diverse student populations.
Working Conditions
  • This is a part-time, temporary position.
  • The work location is in Tottenham, Greater London.
  • Flexible schedule based on student needs.
