We are seeking a skilled and experienced Courier and Delivery Specialist to join our team in London South West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses across the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parcels.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships and provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg, ensuring safe handling and transportation.

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving licence covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B) is essential, with a clean licence preferred.
  • You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and be able to show it at assessment.
  • Natural friendliness, positivity, and proactivity are essential traits for this role, as you will be interacting with customers and colleagues daily.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, estimated to be around £24,000 per annum, based on a 38-hour full-time week. You will also receive:

  • Starting salary of £23,290 (£11.75 per hour), increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) after a 6-month probation period.
  • A night shift allowance, pro rata Outer London weighting allowance of £3,152 per annum (£1.58 per hour), and an additional supplement of £824 per annum pro rota.
  • An opportunity to increase earnings by working extra hours.
  • A weekly driving allowance of £24.41 plus a bonus of up to £16.
  • Access to a company pension scheme and 4.5 weeks' annual holiday entitlement, increasing with service.
