Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java software engineer to join our team as a Front Office Java Developer. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software for our Core Server platform, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for the Core Server platform, ensuring it meets performance, quality, and responsiveness requirements.
  • Develop software using secure techniques, adhering to industry-accepted security standards and best practices.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and potential software bugs, maintaining code quality and organization.
  • Ensure software designs comply with specifications and prepare releases of software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Computer Science or related degree or a proven track record in industry.
  • Solid understanding of Java, preferably Java 17.
  • Knowledge of designing scalable server-side web applications, architecture patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Data is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of one major relational database.
  • Good practices with UI/UX standards.
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
  • Minimum of 3 years Java development experience within an enterprise software organization.
  • A proven track record of working within technology teams, either in office settings or remotely.
  • Knowledge and experience in working within highly regulated sectors, such as Financial services, or with Financial Services organizations.
