Community and Advocacy Team Lead

Figma is a leading design and development platform that empowers teams to create and collaborate on innovative products. We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Community and Advocacy efforts in EMEA, driving growth and engagement across the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, developing and executing strategic plans, and fostering strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. They will be responsible for setting the vision and direction for our EMEA community strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales enablement and growth, and ensuring that our community efforts are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the EMEA Advocate Team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy for EMEA, including sales enablement and growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to optimize advocacy engagement and drive business growth
  • Partner with Product teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development
  • Maintain and build relationships with users in the community, identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and track engagement metrics
  • Enable Figma users at scale by prioritizing and delivering high-value content in partnership with regional marketing teams

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience in community/advocacy/evangelism/product development
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Strategic thought leader with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience working with product designers and/or developer audiences and knowledge of product development workflows
  • Experience working in high-growth SaaS companies
  • Figma expertise (real-world experience using it within a team is a plus)
  • Comfort-level with up to 25% of travel
