About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Bookkeeper to join our team at Olivia Ruella Ltd, a prestigious and well-respected firm of chartered accountants based in East Kent.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, providing bookkeeping, management accountancy, and VAT services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial data up to trial balance
  • Perform double entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
  • Manage prepayments and accruals
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts
Requirements
  • AAT studying, qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Experience with Xero or QuickBooks software
  • Competent with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
