We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team as a Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist. The successful candidate will be based at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, where they will lead a multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality care to patients with neurological and brain injuries.

The estimated salary for this role is £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical indemnity paid by Active Care Group, 32 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), and a pension scheme.

About the Role
  • Leading the multidisciplinary team that undertakes assessments for admissions to the service within our partner acute hospitals.
  • Providing input for Spasticity and Bowel / Bladder Management.
  • Leading the multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of our patients, including weekly review.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will also contribute to service development through research, innovation, and local audit. They will participate in Group Neuro clinical governance meetings and engage in ongoing personal development through CPD and annual appraisal.

We are looking for a physician with expertise in rehabilitation medicine, preferably with a CCT (or equivalent) in this field. However, we will also consider candidates with a CCT (or equivalent) in General Internal Medicine / Geriatric Medicine / Neurology who have evidence of clinical practice in areas of rehabilitation.
