Job Summary:

Lindab Ltd, a leading ventilation company in the UK, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team in Kent. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, handling, checking, and dispatching goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain storage areas to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
  • Assemble and pack goods for customers, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, carefully checking goods against paperwork.
  • Operate forklift trucks, including Reach and Counterbalance, to move goods efficiently.
  • Adopt safe manual handling practices, lifting and carrying goods up to 25kg.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with customers on a regular basis.
  • Desirable: Counterbalance forklift license and experience operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure.
  • Manual handling experience and knowledge of building/trade products.
