Senior Bookkeeper Position
A competitive salary of £30,000 per annum is offered for this Senior Bookkeeper role in our finance department. This full-time position involves processing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, providing financial insights, and working closely with our Management Accountant.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. They should have a minimum of 3 years' experience within an accounting department and hold an Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification or equivalent. Additionally, they should be educated to degree level in accounting, finance, business administration, or CIMA part-qualified/qualified.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, reconcile ledgers, manage accounts payable and receivable, and prepare VAT returns. They will also assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, create journals for accruals and prepayments, and update the fixed asset register.

This role requires strong expertise in all elements of bookkeeping, payroll processing, and VAT compliance. The ideal candidate will have robust numerical and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
