Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods through our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift and reach truck, with a preference for licensed operators.
  • Meet quality and productivity metrics, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receive and put away inventory, utilizing our warehouse management system (WMS) to track and manage stock levels.
  • Pick and pack orders, utilizing our WMS to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods.
  • Complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Accurately and courteously load client merchandise, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate any issues with shipments immediately to the account coordinator, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Manage all task requests, following up to ensure client needs are met.
  • Responsible for accurate inventory and locations in the warehouse and WMS system.
  • Organize inbound and outbound freight, staging them in designated areas.
  • Report any issues with shipping or receiving to the warehouse team leader or management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Balances individual responsibilities.
  • Consistently at work and on time.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Reach with hands and arms, and frequently required to climb or balance.
  • Regularly lift and/or move 25 kilos, and occasionally lift and/or move 25 kilos by hand.
  • Ability to drive a forklift and/or reach truck, and become certified by Crane Worldwide.
