Brewery Technician Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Brewery Technician to join our team at Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company Limited in Northampton. This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract role that offers a great chance to learn about the brewing industry and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and improve utilities usage across the brewery to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Work closely with the U&E Manager to implement CAPEX projects related to utilities and environmental initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the current utilities management system to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead the Utilities Team to achieve utility KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimisation techniques to streamline brewery operations.
  • Train and mentor Engineers and apprentices in SAP usage.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a FMCG company.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver solutions in a complex FMCG environment.
  • Experience in delivering CAPEX projects and managing budgets.
  • Advanced excel skills and data analysis experience.
  • Valid working rights within the UK.
