Job Title: Experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant required

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school near Burnley, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues.

About the Role:

  • Deliver person-centred support to pupils with SEMH issues in a supportive school environment.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviours.

Key Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable).
  • Team Teach training experience.
  • Previous Teaching Assistant experience essential.

Contract Details:

  • Role: SEMH TA
  • Location: Near Burnley
  • Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm (term time)
  • Pay: £100 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Type: Temporary
  • Full/part time: Full time
  • Start date: ASAP
