Materials Recovery Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Recycling Process Technician to join our team at Sibelco's Newhouse Glass Recycling site.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile equipment, including forklift trucks and loading shovels, to support production activities.
• Carry out quality control testing and reporting to ensure product quality.
• Perform auxiliary tasks to support the production process, including maintenance activities and manual tasks.
• Work collaboratively with other teams, including weighbridge operators and bagging operators, to ensure continuous production.
• Enter production data into the required IT system.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to a multi-skilled team working on a rotating shift pattern.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a production or maintenance role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work at Sibelco's Newhouse Glass Recycling site, reporting to a Shift Co-ordinator.
