Lead Architect Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join a pioneering Specialist insurer in London as the embedded Lead Solutions Architect. The organisation is undergoing a major IT transformation, establishing an agile framework and specialised product teams across the business.

You will be part of a specialised Product team, embarking on a transformative period, growing their digital platform and offering. Reporting into the Chief Architect, you will take ownership of product solution architecture for the underwriting, actuarial, and business functions.

This is a transitional environment, requiring an agile approach to architecture. You will have worked in an Azure environment, with deep knowledge in application architecture and middleware and integration. This is the ideal opportunity for a flexible Architect who thrives on developing new solutions for business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture design for applications, integrations, and data solutions that align with business goals and technology strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships with Data & Analytics, IT, and Security and Engineering teams.
  • Commercial Insurance or London Markets experience is required.
  • Experience developing IT architectures across Applications and Data that operate through SaaS.
  • Ability to work in sprints and adopt an agile approach to architecture design.
