Public Relations Manager (Mat-Cover)

Job Overview

This role is responsible for driving brand awareness and amplifying Selfridges' Lifestyle and Experience categories through strategic communications and partnerships.

As a key member of the PR and Social team, you will work closely with the PR Lead to develop and execute the annual PR strategy, focusing on the Lifestyle and Experience categories.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key media contacts and influencers
  • Creating and executing PR campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver 360-degree results
  • Managing PR Coordinators and providing guidance on product representation and media outreach
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and news to inform PR strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in PR and communications, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong relationships with lifestyle media contacts and influencers
  • Ability to generate high-quality media coverage through a 360-degree communications approach
  • Excellent creative writing and presentation skills
  • Understanding of working across teams and with multiple stakeholders to deliver business objectives
