About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced relief assistant to join our team at Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool Dudley. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily needs of our children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and autism spectrum disorder (ASL).
  • Conduct observations, assessments, and planning for your key children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
  • Encourage and praise children's development and achievements, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery and provide high-quality care and education to our children.

Requirements

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification and previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant, or Nursery Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and education, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of each child.
