Job Description

Our client, a reputable accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee all aspects of their financial operations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong accounting background, commercial acumen, and excellent leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions, reviewing internal reports, and making informed decisions to optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting systems to ensure compliance with government regulations and legislation.
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to detect discrepancies and rectify.
  • Establish and implement systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to the CEO and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualified or unqualified accountant with significant experience (5 years plus) in a commercial organization.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan ahead and have a flexible approach.
  • Demonstrates honesty in their work.
  • Possesses solid written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, problem-solving skills, research skills, analytical skills, and an understanding of data privacy standards.
  • Team player with a positive can-do attitude.
