We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Surgery Specialist Support Nurse to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the provision and coordination of a comprehensive and integrated service for paediatric surgery and urology patients.
- Develop and implement specialist nursing care programmes and undertake specialist nursing procedures.
- Provide education and training to children, families, and carers, as well as other staff and students.
- Liaise with professional groups and agencies to enhance the delivery of care to children and families.
- Registered nurse with a Diploma level education.
- Post-registration study relevant to the post.
- Teaching, assessing, or mentoring module.
- Significant acute General Paediatric Nursing experience.
- Experience in leading a team or coordinating a shift on a children's ward.
