At Fine Décor Wallcoverings Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Colour Mixer to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality colour mixes, meeting our stringent quality standards and customer specifications.



About the Role

The successful Colour Mixer will have a strong understanding of colour theory, including colour matching, blending and the impact of different hues and shades. You will be proficient in colour mixing tools and equipment, including spectrophotometers, and have experience working with digital colour matching tools.



Key Responsibilities



  • Measure and mix colours with high precision to achieve consistent and accurate results

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure production targets are consistently met

  • Identify and resolve colour discrepancies and formulation issues quickly and efficiently

  • Ensure that all colour mixes meet the company's quality standards and specifications



Requirements



  • Familiarity with production machinery and equipment, understanding of manufacturing processes

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues

  • Ability to work well within a team as production often involves collaboration with various departments

  • Previous experience in the wallpaper or related industries such as paint or textiles is highly desirable
