We are a leading specialist manufacturer in Dorset, and we are seeking a talented Project Development Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

The role involves working on full lifecycle projects, designing and developing new products, and liaising with manufacturing providers. You will also be involved in final assembly of products and responsible for creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports/plans.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least one year of experience in a similar Design/Mechanical/Project Engineering position and possess strong organisational, client-facing, and project management skills.

Experience working in FMCG, packaging, food, beverage, process plants or similar is also essential, as is a good understanding of 2D and 3D CAD software.

A degree/HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, along with a proven track record of driving engineering development and possessing excellent mathematical and general engineering knowledge.

Our salary range for this position is £32,000 - £39,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
