We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a client portfolio of various sizes and within a broad range of business sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare statutory accounts for company and partnerships.
- Support and lead on VAT and corporate tax computations.
- Support, nurture and review the work of the junior team.
- Work closely with Managers and Directors to oversee workflow and ensure deadlines and budgets are being met.
- Champion service excellence throughout all communications and deliverables.
- Build strong rapport with clients as their trusted go-to contact, proactively handling queries.
- Deliver a strong technical skillset and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Support the tax team with non-complex computations.
- Support the firm's strategic direction by cross-selling services and maintaining loyal relationships.
- Drive your own professional development, keeping up-to-date with industry news and regulations, and undertaking training opportunities.

Requirements- ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified or a finalist, with several years experience within UK practice.
- Qualified by impressive experience would also be considered.
- Previous supervisory experience with great people management skills.
- Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
- A commercial mindset and enthusiasm to support business growth.
- Committed to delivering the highest quality service.
- A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
