CNC Workshop Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced CNC Workshop Manager to lead our busy machine shop in South Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of machining, tooling, and maintenance, with previous experience of managing a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of skilled machinists and engineers to optimize production and implement lean practices.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure efficient production processes.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our comprehensive machine shop, including 5-axis and 4-axis vertical machine centres, CNC lathes, and conventional metal cutting and grinding machinery.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of managing a busy CNC machine shop.
• Solid knowledge of machining, tooling, and maintenance.
• Ability to work closely with the design team and optimize production processes.
