Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering qualification and at least 10 years' experience in project or proposal management, specifically in offshore wind farm sales, transport, cranes, or management.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop cost-effective strategies for sales projects, presenting to clients as required, and facilitating handovers to project execution teams.
  2. Work with solutions teams and purchasing to prepare comprehensive proposals, including execution strategy, transportation, installation, and contract reviews.
  3. Monitor competitiveness, conduct cost analyses, develop risk management procedures, and provide feedback on cost-saving initiatives to the solutions department.
  4. Support supplier relationships, ensuring favorable contract terms, and assist procurement for vessels, cranes, installation, and logistics.
Requirements
  1. A degree in a relevant engineering qualification and minimum 10 years' experience in project or proposal management.
  2. Mandatory experience in offshore wind farm project sales, transport, cranes, or management, with excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office/Sharepoint.
  3. Essential excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, with adherence to sales project requirements, timely budgets, and identification of risks and opportunities.
  4. Maintain knowledge of logistics and crane equipment available for the onshore wind industry in each European country and develop solutions to optimize project budgets.
