About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our Domestic Major Loss adjusting team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to take on a leadership role and drive performance within our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and develop direct reports to achieve their full potential
  • Ensure the team meets client service, technical reporting, and quality standards
  • Promote and deliver our goal of making claims easy for everyone
  • Deliver excellent customer care and understand the importance of customer satisfaction
  • Meet financial targets and understand how to influence financial outcomes
  • Complete progressive performance meetings and ensure compliance with Sedgwick processes and procedures
  • Liaise with insurer clients and develop client and broker relationships
  • Build good working relationships with internal product lines and departments
Requirements
  • Proven management skills and ability to lead a high-performing team
  • Experience in handling domestic insurance claims, including field experience
  • First-class communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Competent IT skills and ability to maintain electronic files to a high auditable standard
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload under pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with colleagues and understand their needs
