Toolroom Technician

We are looking for a CNC Miller to join our team at a leading Injection Moulding manufacturer based in Sutton Coldfield. As a CNC Miller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and health and safety
• Manufacture new tooling to meet project timelines
• Perform regular maintenance and upkeep on milling machines
• Collaborate with toolmakers, CAD/CAM programmers, and designers
• Analyse issues to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Maintain accurate records of tooling and inventory
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
• Meet health and safety standards and promote a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Time served toolmaking apprenticeship
• Experience as a CNC Miller Setter, Operator Programmer
• Understanding of technical drawings
• 5 years' experience in CNC Milling setting, Operator Programmer
