Job Summary
CB1 Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Dispenser to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients and provide expert advice on the safe use of medicines.
- Ensure all prescriptions are thoroughly checked for accuracy and appropriateness before dispensing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and ensure compliance with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards and other relevant legislation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering guidance and answering queries from patients regarding their medications and health-related issues.
- Assist with the management and ordering of pharmaceutical stock, ensuring adequate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay abreast of changes in pharmacy practice and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and patient interactions in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support the pharmacy team in achieving sales and service targets while promoting health and wellness services offered by the pharmacy.

Key Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience as a Pharmacist.
- Therapeutic and clinical knowledge and understanding of the principles of CBPM.
- Self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail.
- Professional, ethical, and committed to providing excellent customer care.
- Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence at interacting with patients remotely.
Qualifications
- A UK qualified, registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC Number.
