Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Sub-Agent to join our Regional Civils team at Bridgwater Tidal Barrier in Somerset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Civils team to deliver schemes across the Southwest, working within a collaborative Delivery Framework with the Environment Agency.
  • Support the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation, and procurement and design delivery schedules.
  • Liaise with Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant materials, and temporary works to carry out required activities.
  • Manage the site engineering team, responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
  • Identify and resolve technical site issues in liaison with Agent.

Requirements:

  • Relevant HNC/degree and experience in site engineering activities combined with supervision skills.
  • CSCS card - Supervisor Gold, experienced Supervisor or Manager.
