Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

    Trupanion is a leading provider of pet health insurance, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure.

    As a key member of our DevOps team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will also establish and maintain automated Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for deploying applications and infrastructure changes.

    We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who has a strong background in Microsoft technologies and proven experience in implementing and maintaining robust DevOps practices in an Azure environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of highly-skilled DevOps engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Establish and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and infrastructure changes.
  • Implement best practices for version control, build automation, and release management using Azure DevOps Services to meet regulatory compliance needs.
  • Partner with the Infrastructure team to refine and implement monitoring solutions to proactively detect and respond to infrastructure and application issues.

    Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role, with solid experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as healthcare or financial services.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, Entra ID, and Azure services (VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, AKS, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

    Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 per annum
