Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. This is a permanent vacancy with great opportunities to progress, offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of steel fabrication contracts, including contract administration, project planning, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project delivery according to specifications and timelines.
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
  • Monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Resolve issues, manage change orders, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Prepare and submit project progress reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in steel fabrication project management and contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Steel project management: 3 years (preferred)
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • CSCS card for site visits (preferred)
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • Overtime: paid at Time + 1/3 after 40 hours / Sundays at Double Time / Bank Holidays at Double time plus a day in lieu
