The main purpose of this role is to effectively manage the hygiene team, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained across the facility, while adhering to all quality, legal, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the hygiene team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is up-to-date and training is provided to team members.
- Review and update hygiene procedures every six months.
- Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment, and laundry.
- Manage and maintain hygiene paperwork and digital systems.
- Ensure the availability of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment.
- Plan, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage the hygiene team to ensure the effectiveness of operations.
- Coordinate corrective actions in response to audits and visits.
- Identify areas of risk in food operations and implement remedial actions.
- Develop and maintain robust hygiene management systems, including daily deep cleaning, periodic cleaning, and operational support.
- Ensure adherence to quality and hygiene regulatory requirements, HACCP, and technical protocols.
- Deliver training to team members on production, food safety, and technical protocols.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of hygiene-related paperwork.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
