**Job Title:** Head of Fire Engineering

We are a leading fire consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire engineering services. We are seeking an experienced Head of Fire Engineering to join our team in Manchester.

**Job Description:**

As a key member of our Fire Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading complex fire engineering projects from start to finish. This will involve managing technical aspects of larger projects, supporting and mentoring Fire Engineers within your team, and delivering fire consultancy services, designer services, and fire strategies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage technical aspects of larger projects or components of major projects
* Support and mentor Fire Engineers within your team
* Delivery of fire consultancy services, designer services, and fire strategies
* Lead the fire engineering team to deliver multiple projects
* Attend design team meetings throughout the project
* Support with business strategy and digital innovations
* Preparation of reports, engineering designs, calculations, and specifications
* Project manage from start to end including financials, quality management planning, and customer care

**Requirements:**

* 7+ years' experience in fire engineering
* Extensive experience in delivering fire-engineered solutions for UK-based projects
* Familiar with active, passive, and active fire protection systems
* Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, working to tight deadlines
* UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
