Job Description:

We are looking for a highly professional and experienced security expert to work in our flagship store in Central London. As a Door Person, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security of our high-value inventory and creating a warm atmosphere for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting every customer warmly and opening the door for their arrival and departure.
  • Security Measures: Maintain a constant presence at the store entrance to deter theft and ensure a safe shopping environment.
  • Support: Assist customers as needed, including carrying purchases to their cars or offering umbrellas in inclement weather.
  • Patrols: Conduct regular store patrols to monitor security risks and address any concerns.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, following established procedures.
  • Shoplifter Apprehension: Assist in the apprehension of shoplifters when required and liaise with law enforcement, providing detailed incident reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Support the Store Manager in developing and implementing effective security measures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a Door Person or security role within a high-end retail or luxury hotel setting.
  • Observation Skills: Exceptional observational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
  • First Aid: Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is a plus.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
